When the word of God is spoken, nothing can be against it with any authority. Therefore, when we fail to realize who we are, what our calling is, when we live in fear of what we can be, it is not our power we fail to see. It is not our power we doubt. It is HIS, the I AM, the God of all, the creator of life. When we doubt what he made us to do, when we doubt our abilities, we doubt what HE can do. When we doubt our words, we doubt his own. Stand up mighty warriors, stand up and take your place. Stand up and answer your calling. Believe in yourself, because HIS power is IN you, and he is waiting for a generation to stop sitting still and silent- He is waiting for a generation to STAND UP!
Stand up to the faithless, stand up to the doubtful. Stand up for Christ. Because if you deny him in a crowd, what good is praising him in the dark??
Your faith should know not where it goes. Your faith should be blind. Your faith should be loud and bold and daring. Your faith should be worn with pride. It should be a burning bush, every where you walk it should leave embers in your steps. Your walk with Christ, your love for Jesus should be the proudest accomplistment of your life, the greatest thing you will ever know.
So many of us carry the weight of our failures daily. Live with our sins long after they have been forgiven and washed away. So many of us keep the pain of the past and wear if like patches on our clothing. So many of us walk around with the scars of the inside boldly displayed. Yet, when we find the one that heals us, when we find his words, his love, faith, his mercy, we contain it inside ourselves for fear of the world.
What we fail to realize, is that "If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
My life has become a testimony.
No longer is it a manual on how not to live.
NO longer is it a pile of memories I would like to forget.
No longer is it the pain of the past.
He washed it away with his blood.
My life is his, lived in the light of his word, of his love.
I am new.
I am saved.
I am a testimony, that everything can go wrong, and it can still lead you to what is right.
"Fear of man often freezes you from sharing your testimony"
A man at my church said that.
Ben, to be exact.
But my point, is that at the end of the age, when Christ is calling his soldiers, calling the people who believed in him, who would you rather have behind you? Jesus Christ, or the people of this fallen world????
God is waiting for a generation to stop sitting still and silent.
I no longer need the approval of co-workers, of friends, even of family.
I seek one approval, and one only.
My Lord.
It is the most amazing freedom.
I ask you to dance in it with me. :]
---------------------------------------------------------
You're the answer to my questions
You're the cure to my disease.
I'll do anything to worship,
I fall down to my knees.
You're the reason, oh Lord,
I can fly with broken wings.
It's only for you I dance,
It's only for you I sing.

I'm sorry.
<3
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry if I ever made you feel that you weren't enough.
I'm sorry if I ever let you down.
I'm sorry if you ever felt alone.
I'm sorry if you were ever helpless.
I'm sorry for any hurtful words I have spoken.
I'm sorry for the things I never said.
I'm sorry for the grudges I never should have held.
I'm sorry for not listening.
I'm sorry for not letting you show me who you really were.
I'm sorry for not showing you who I really was.
I'm sorry for letting bitterness cloud my judgment.
I'm sorry for judging at all.
I'm sorry if you were ever left alone in the dark.
I'm sorry if I wasn't the friend you needed.
I'm sorry if I wasn't the daughter I should have been.
I'm sorry if I didn't do enough to help.
I'm sorry if I never spoke the kind words you needed to hear.
I am sorry that I never showed you my faith.
I pray that it's not too late.
In all the times that you thought you were alone, you never were.
HE was there.
Right beside you.
Begging you to come to him.
In all the times you turned to a man for comfort, that he wasn't capable of providing.
In all the times you used violence to mask the pain.
In all the times you were angry, bitter, and betrayed.
In all the times that the world felt like it was collapsing.
In all the times that you felt nothing but pain.
In all the times that you thought you had lost.
He was there.
Begging for you.
Pleading for you.
He already won.
He already fought your battle.
He already had the harsh words, the pain, the violence. He carried it on his shoulders. He nailed it to the cross with his pure, selfless body. He took the burden of your pain, of your mistakes, of your sin. He took your life and he washed it with his holy blood.
Because he loved you.
And he trusted you so much that he left the choice up to you. He left it up to YOU if you wanted to live in his love. He trusted you so much, that he left his body to be tortured, insulted, ridiculed, spit apon, disrespected, beaten, bruised, and bloodied, all with the knowledge that you would one day come to him. That you would one day look at the love that he had for you, and know that you had been searching for things that mortal beings can't give.
People WILL let you down.
They WILL disappoint you.
They WILL hurt your feelings.
The only one that will NEVER fail, is Him.
So now, I am begging you.
I am begging you,
pleading with you,
asking you...
Know him.
Trust him.
Love him.
Because I promise, he heals all wounds. Not time, only Jesus Christ.
